COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
Security Deposits
One-time help with rental and utility deposits
About this program
One purpose of the Community Services Block Grant is to help overcome barriers to stability and self-sufficiency. Many households can afford rent and utilities but do not have the deposits needed to move into an affordable unit. The Deposit Assistance Program helps with one-time rental and utility deposits. Funding is limited and households showing greater self-sufficiency are prioritized.
All programs are contingent upon available funding. Qualifying for or applying for services does not guarantee funding.
