COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
Rent Assistance
Help for households facing eviction or homelessness
About this program
Community Action focuses on the urgent needs of individuals and families experiencing literal homelessness or facing the imminent threat of eviction. Because of high demand and limited funding, applicants go through a screening process so assistance reaches those who need it most.
Rapid Rehousing: our goal is to move homeless adults and families quickly from temporary shelter into permanent housing, with case management to support job placement and stability. Clients are selected based on greatest need from the Washington and Iron County Community Housing Lists.
The pandemic-era Emergency Rental Assistance Program has ended.
All programs are contingent upon available funding. Qualifying for or applying for services does not guarantee funding.
