Zion Canyon Corridor Futures Study
 March 2009

The Department of Landscape Architecture + Environmental Planning at Utah State University (LAEP-USU) has completed a "futures analysis" for the Zion Canyon Corridor in Washington County Utah (LaVerkin/Virgin/Rockville/Springdale).  The purpose of this study is to help the communities in the corridor prepare for the future by:

1- Illustrating significant lands in the corridor;

2- Illustrating how development issues in the corridor will impact significant lands; and

3- Providing a "toolbox" of specific actions communities can take to prepare for a sustainable future.

The complete final report is available in the link below. This is an 8MB low resolution version of the document.
