CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS LISTS FOR
HUD (CDBG) AND CIB FUNDED PROJECTS  The staff of the Community & Economic
Development division of the
Five County Association of Governments works with communities and
counties throughout our southwest region of Utah to update their local
Capital Improvements Lists. These lists are part of the annual update of the "Regional Consolidated Plan". Participation in the development of a Consolidated Plan is required for all jurisdictions who are applying to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for funding, primarily the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. CDBG funding can be used by eligible counties, cities & towns, and sponsored special districts or sponsored non-profit organizations. These lists are also utilized for all applications made to the Utah Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB). CIB is a program utilized extensively by counties, cities & towns, and special districts in Utah to fund community development projects.
